SCOTX Releases New Opinion Regarding Modifications

The Supreme Court released an opinion in In Re C.J.C.
The Court grants mandamus, and Justice Bland writing for the Court holds that because a fit parents presumptively acts in the best interest of their children and have a “fundamental right to make decisions concerning the care, custody, and control of that child,” the fit parent presumption applies to modifications.
